  • Getting a massage! Pre & Post Sports Massage is available to all who want one (not just racers). All proceeds will go to fund. $1.00 per min.
  • registering to walk or run
  • donating - any amount of donation is welcome at any time of the year.  Please fill out our donation form so that we can respond with tax information for your tax deductable write off.
  • donate paper, postage stamps, disposable eating utensils, etc., please fill out our donation form so that we can respond with tax information for your tax deductable write off.
  • Sponsor a runner or walker (Please include the name of the runner or walker you are sponsoring)
  • For our future races we will ask registered runners or walkers to get at least one additional sponsor to support this fund.  This will help to raise more funds for the Ed Snell Memorial Fund.  You can have friends, family, or businesses sponsor you in this race. We will be giving a special award to the runner or walker that raises the most donations.  You or your sponsor can donate by clicking on sponsor runners and walkers.
  • We invite you to make an additional donation of $1.00 to help with the bike/run/walk path along highway 9 for which the Ed Snell Run/Walk gratefully uses during our annual Run/Walk in the Park.

The Ed Snell Memorial Fund is managed by volunteers to provide assistance for locals with special needs. Funds are generated from Sponsor Donations, registration fees, t-shirt and water bottle sales. At the 30th Annual Run/walk, volunteer local massage Therapists will be available for Pre & post sports massage (not just for the racers!). All proceeds will be donated to the fund.

In the past 30 years, donations have helped to make the following possible:
  • paid medical bills for a teen’s Liver transplant, Eye cancer in a toddler, a child’s respiratory disease, intestinal cancer, severe allergies and more.
  • transportation for disabled
  • emergency child care
  • dental and visual health care
  • funeral expenses
  • child abuse and neglect
  • adoptions with special needs
  • purchased special riding equipment for "Kids Roundup".  Kids Roundup conducts a therapeutic riding program to serve children with physical disabilities and socially, emotionally challenged children.
  • raise awareness and funds to improve quality of life for those who are in need of assistance while honoring the privacy of the individuals.
