30th Annual Ed Snell Memorial Run/Walk
Fairplay to Alma 10k at 10,573 ft. The 30th run/walk repeats the original race course, offering beautiful scenery along a bicycle path next to Colorado highway 9.(See photos of past races!) All Participants Park and Check-in at the Church in Alma Fairplay to Alma, Colorado
Saturday, August 21, 2010 Distance: 10Km (6.2 miles) Elevation gain: 350 feet Pre-Registered Check-in & Race Day Registration:
8 am – 9:30 am Location To be Determined Participants will take a bus to start of Race Cohen Park (8th & Bogue-Fairplay, Colorado) Walkers Bus leaves at 8:35 Runners Bus leaves at 9:35

Walkers start: 9:00 am
Runners start: 10:00 am There will be two water stations along race path and a port-a-pottie along the way for your convenience. Pre & Post Sports Massage is available to all who want one (not just racers)! All proceeds will go to fund. $1.00 per min.
The therapist will be at the start of the race, at Cohen Park and then you will find them at the church in Alma on Hwy 9 where the race ends.
This is a great way to warm-up your body, relieve lactic acid build up, create more oxygen into your body and thank your body for the wonderful gift it has just provide in this charitable fund raiser.
Refreshments: at finish line Awards ceremony and door prizes announced when most participants are in.
(Between approximately 11:30 & 12:30) Registration is $20 before the race and $25 on the day of the race. Children 13 and under are $10. We invite you to make an additional donation of $1.00 to help with the bike/run/walk path along highway 9 for which the Ed Snell Run/Walk gratefully uses during our annual Run/Walk in the Park.
